I remember summer days as a child...I'd go over to my friends house as soon as the sun was up. Not like we'd have anything planned, though. That didn't keep us from spending most of the day running around the neighborhood together 😁

That one afternoon when I brought home my very first Transformer. 🤖

The family had just came from Zayre's. The store had received their first stock of G1 Transformers. As soon as I saw them on the shelf, I knew I wanted one. Fortunately my parents were kind enough to allow me to get one that day. My first? Mirage, because he transformed into a race car.

I was so excited, I remember holding it up in the car window to show the other kids in the neighborhood as my family passed by on our way home. As soon as I got out of the car, I ran over to my friends so I could show them what a cool toy line Transformers were. 😎
