Consequences

There can be consequences for not doing schoolwork!

Throughout the school year, I was supposed to regularly write in my handwriting workbook, but I kept putting it off. At the end of the year, when our teacher allowed the children to play outside all day, I had to sit by her as she watched me complete my workbook. 😮‍💨📓✏️

Ice Cream

When we got a major ice cream shop in town, we had to try it out for ourselves. Since we were still little, the serving sizes looked HUGE to us! 😳🍦

Mood...

 

Interesting how a chilly, rainy day can affect your mood, especially when you have to leave the house. 😕🌧

Chess

My friend taught me how to play chess. I was a slow learner, though. 😅♟️

Night Drive

It was always a treat when the family went on an evening drive on the back country roads. We'd have all the windows down, and the cool night air would blow around the car interior. 🚗😁💨

Late Night TV

It was always a treat when I was allowed to stay up late to watch TV. Unfortunately, I'd often run out of energy first! 😮‍💨😴

Practice

This seasonably cooler weather reminds me of the early years when my sister and I participated in the local youth soccer league.

After school, our parents would drop us off in the evening for practice. It often made for a long day! ⚽️ 👟😮‍💨
