Fall Drives

Fall is here!

A tradition of the family this time of year involved long drives through the countryside so we could see the leaves changing color. 🍂🍁

Attention

Okay, so maybe I didn't always pay attention in class! 😅📚

Fail!

That sinking feeling when you received a failing grade! I don't know why I would expect anything else...I rarely studied! 😅📚

Dinner

You knew when your parents yelled your name out the front door, you better be on your way home...pronto! 😅😳🏃‍♂️

Arts and Crafts

I seemed to be in my element when it came to arts and crafts. That was at least one class I did well in. 🎨🖌✂️😁

Lunchtime

 

Lunchtime in the school cafeteria was definitely a social event. Unfortunately, it could be a struggle for those of us a bit on the "socially awkward" side. 😅😳

Fall

A Trade?

When your parents packed your lunch, sometimes it had something you'd rather not eat. What to do? See if anyone will trade their lunch for yours. 🍔🍟🥤😋

I chose beef jerky as the food Zack wanted to trade as a tribute to my friend who lived down the street. His father loved beef jerky...even the interior of his house smelled like beef jerky. 😅

Cool Breeze

Nothing like that first cool day, ushering in the fall season. 🍃

The cool, fresh air...gentle breeze...clear, deep blue sky...it's hard to resist venturing out to enjoy the beautiful weather! 🚶‍♂️😎

Kick Ball!

A new school year means it's back to gym class! ⛹️‍♂️

A favorite activity in gym class was kick ball! As long as the pitcher rolled it straight towards home plate, you were almost guaranteed to make contact with the ball. 👟
