Snowstorm Football
Nothing like playing football during a snowstorm! The quiet effect in the air caused by the falling snow, the reduced visibility, and the opportunity to throw your friend into a pile of snow kept the game highly entertaining! π π
On a side note, it wasn't until I was wrapping up the inking process of my drawing that I realized Zack and Steve are obviously playing in a foot or more of snow, but there's no snow accumulation on the house, fence, or tree in the background! To remedy the oversight, I ended up adding the additional snow as part of a separate drawing and then combining all the components in the digital process.

Fireplace
With the nights getting down to single digits, it's really making me miss having a fireplace. π₯Άπ₯
It wasn't often, but when it'd get cold like this, Dad would get a fire going. Laying in front of the fire was the best spot in the house! π

Gotcha!
One of the toy lines I missed out on during my childhood...Laser Tag!
It must have been convenient to have sensors to acknowledge when you hit someone. Instead, when my friends and I would play tag we'd argue for ten minutes about who hit who first! π€£

Outside
After watching TV long enough, Mom would kick us out of the house to get some exercise. Unfortunately, ice-cold days like today were not exactly ideal weather conditions for playing outside π₯Ά

BBall
My favorite activity during gym class had to be basketball.
When we were little, that basketball hoop seemed to be soooo high up...
...that didn't stop us from taking half court shots π π

Snow!
Trying to recapture a moment when I would get excited that it was snowing.
Nowadays, it just reminds me I have some shoveling to do. π ❄☃️

Toys
The last thing you wanted to hear was the teacher's taking them away, saying "you'll get them back at the end of the school year." That usually meant you'd never see them again, because both you and the teacher would forget about them by the end of the year. I lost a lot of good toys that way π
