It always felt like a major accomplishment to climb to the top of the snow mounds after the streets and walkways were cleared off! 😁❄️

I'll be honest...once I saw it was snowing out the classroom window, I was no longer listening to the teacher! I was just anxiously waiting for the announcement we would be going home early! ❄️⛄️😅

Winter Football

It seemed like whenever it would snow, a group of kids would gather in the park behind our house to play football.

The snowfall usually quieted the neighborhood down, so you could hear the kids playing football that much clearer from inside the house (especially when you opened the window to listen 😉).🏈

Distracted

It was extremely difficult to concentrate at school the first few days back from Christmas vacation. I'd always get some amazing presents for Christmas that I couldn't wait to get back home to. 🎁🤯

The toy in this cartoon? One of my favorite Christmas presents from my childhood...the G.I. Joe WHALE hovercraft! For a kid my size, the toy was gigantic! 😳
