When the family would drive back into town late on a Saturday, we'd always look to see what movie the drive-in theater was playing as we passed by. 😁🎥

I Spy

The family would usually drive to vacation spots in our station wagon. The destinations were always hours away from home, and while on the road, there was little to keep our minds occupied. That's why it was particularly special to spot something unique while on route, like a military helicopter flying by! 😎🚁

Bittersweet

The excitement of finding a hard-to-find video game while away on a family vacation...

...and the agony of having to wait until you get back home to play the game. 😅🎮

True Story!

My last cartoon reminded me of this moment. After falling off my bike, unable to move my one arm, my mother actually wanted me to change into a pair of clean pants before we drove off to the hospital. 😂

I admit I was a little accident prone as a child. 😅

Even though it wasn't exactly "fun" dealing with the pain, I found it a bit exciting to show off my latest injuries to my friends. 😄
