I find it interesting when we get a streak of unseasonably cold weather, the moment it returns to normal temps, there's at least one person I encounter that treats the change in weather like it's a cool summer day. 🥶🤔

Separation Anxiety

After wishing for a particular toy for MONTHS, I'd be so excited when I actually GOT that toy for Christmas that I had difficulty parting with it! 😅

The day after Christmas...one of the busiest days in retail! Not only did you have many people attempting to return or exchange something they received on Christmas Day, but you also had a number of people venturing out to use gift cards!

One of the days I dreaded while working in retail management! 😮‍💨📦

Today's cartoon is a tribute to the Dads! After putting in a full day of work, they still manage to find the energy to lug presents around the house late at night to put under the tree.

No wonder they looked absolutely exhausted on Christmas morning! 😅🎁

Snow Day

We wanted it to snow so badly when we were younger...just for a chance to get out of school. Unfortunately, that no longer applies to me as an adult...if it snows, I am still expected to be at work, no matter how much snow we get. 😮‍💨❄️

Wish List

In my opinion, Ralphie was right...I don't think a football is a good Christmas present for a child who isn't very athletic.

Me, I preferred toy robots and action figures over sports equipment! 😉🤖

B Ball

As NBA and college basketball seasons get into full swing, kids my age were finding opportunities to play some basketball ourselves. I was definitely no pro, but that didn't stop me! 😁🏀

Amino Apps

Today I say goodbye to an amazing online community. Amino’s Art channel was a favorite place to post my cartoons. The App has become completely broken for days, possibly marking an end to the service. Hopefully some of my followers will find me through other platforms #aminoapps

Decorations

 Our hometown did a good job decorating the main street for Christmas. Every half block, garland with bells, holly leaves, and lights hung from the power lines. 

As a child, it was amazing to witness as the family car drove down the street! 🤯

Hot Chocolate

Nothing like sharing a mug of hot chocolate in front of the family fireplace...with marshmallows...lots of marshmallows! 😋

Tinsel

Tinsel...sometimes I wonder why was this was so popular!

Mom was pretty leery of the kids decorating the tree with tinsel, and for good reason...it got EVERYWHERE! It had a tendency of statically clinging to nearly everything it came into contact with, so as you held it, it was sticking to your arms...your clothes...the floor... 😅⚡️
