One of the toy lines I missed out on during my childhood...Laser Tag!
It must have been convenient to have sensors to acknowledge when you hit someone. Instead, when my friends and I would play tag we'd argue for ten minutes about who hit who first! 🤣
After watching TV long enough, Mom would kick us out of the house to get some exercise. Unfortunately, ice-cold days like today were not exactly ideal weather conditions for playing outside 🥶
My favorite activity during gym class had to be basketball.
When we were little, that basketball hoop seemed to be soooo high up...
...that didn't stop us from taking half court shots 😅🏀
Trying to recapture a moment when I would get excited that it was snowing.
Nowadays, it just reminds me I have some shoveling to do. 😅❄☃️
The last thing you wanted to hear was the teacher's taking them away, saying "you'll get them back at the end of the school year." That usually meant you'd never see them again, because both you and the teacher would forget about them by the end of the year. I lost a lot of good toys that way 😅
