I wasn’t much of a skilled roller‑skater — more like a beginner doing my best to stay upright. My sister, though, glided around that rink, twirling and dancing like she’d been born on wheels. Meanwhile, I was out there hitting the plank flooring so often my knees would be bruised and sore for days! 😅🛼
