Socially Awkward
I've heard this from several cartoonists over the years - when around a group of people, they often feel like a "social klutz", unable to truly interact with others in that kind of setting.
I can definitely relate!
Maybe it's because we're constantly "in our own head", contemplating life in general. Many of those thoughts that distract us from those social settings tend to become subject matter for future cartoons! 😉✏️
So, if you see me out and about, and I appear to struggle to connect with the rest of the group, please be lenient...it's just how I'm wired. 🤪
